About

Lindsay has 30 years experience in residential and corporate interiors. Before starting her own design firm she was a senior designer and a project manager on SF Bay Area projects for Microsoft, Chevron, Charles Schwab, and Bank of America. Lindsay has been applying the same level of professionalism and customer service to her residential clients since 2005.

“I built my business on relationships turning corporate clients and contacts into residential clients and partners. I can bring a project from start to finish prioritizing your goals, budget, and schedule while delivering exceptional and innovative design solutions. I believe being a good designer is getting into the details while keeping an eye on the big picture. Relationships are important to me. I like working on a team and I pride myself on good customer service”.

“With the idea of creating fabrics for interiors, I took a course to learn pattern design in 2019. Little did I know that it would turn into another area of design that I love and services I can offer clients! My patterns and illustrations are sold internationally and can be seen on home decor and paper goods in retail stores.”

“We had a great experience working with Lindsay and the team at Halpin Construction…

After consulting with us on our goals for the remodel, Lindsay helped us work with the cabinet makers to order the pieces that would make our vision come to life. She suggested adjustments and revisions that were informed by her design sense and experience and, in retrospect,  made our kitchen even more beautiful and functional than we could have imagined.

Lindsay then coordinated with the team at Halpin to ensure that the demo, install and finishing went smoothly. Every member of Halpin's crew were courteous, informative and considerate of the fact that our family were living in a construction site. We were very pleasantly surprised by the workflow; when one of Peter's crew's finished their work , the next team was in the following day to progress the project.  We really appreciated how seamlessly this happened and were very pleasantly surprised that the work was complete within the nine weeks that Peter Halpin had projected when he provided an estimate for the work.

The unexpected always comes up during construction; in our case some plumbing had to be moved. I think an indication of the quality of the remodel team is how they react to the unexpected. In our case Lindsay and the team at Halpin ensured that we understood the issues as they arose and provided us with options for how to proceed. Peter Halpin quickly provided an estimate for the additional work and there was no delay to our project as a result. Even with all this taken into account, the primary reason we'd recommend Lindsay and the team at Halpin is their attention to detail. Each member of the team, Lindsay, the carpenters, plasterers, tilers, electricians are deeply experienced and knowledgeable and all take great pride in their work. The sum of these efforts is a high quality product, in our case a kitchen that we really love.”  - John M, Half Moon Bay 2022
